Keep up to date with posts on this Blog by subscribing to my RSS Feed
For those readers who are aware of the features of RSS feeds it may be of interest to know that this Blog can be obtained via this link. So that you do not get swamped with text I have limited what you get via your reader to 255 characters. You can, of course, see the whole post by following the link on your reader page.
Personally I find the RSS feeds a very useful way of keeping up to date with several technology areas without having to take all the news. The ability to view 'Headlines' and then select the articles that I want to read saves a considerable amount of time.
For those who have not seen this excellent way of keeping in touch but don't know where to start why not go here where there is a list of readers. You can even put RSS Readers into Google and get a long list of suitable suggestions.
I personally use the SharpReader application because of the nice way it presents the various feeds and their articles. I do know that you can get an Extension for the Mozilla Firefox browser to enable you to read the RSS feeds.
I am in good company offering this 'Service'. Other well known sources of RSS Feeds include the BBC (a large number of focused feeds as well as News), OASIS Press and CNET News (their Security offering is very well worth looking at). There are hundreds of Feeds, surely something for everyone.
