Seasons Greetings

Just a very quick Blog entry to wish those of you who celebrate this time of year Seasons Greetings. I hope that your New Year will be:

• enjoyable (we should all aim to enjoy our work)
• prosperous (and we should be paid for it if possible)
• interactive (no good just beavering away in isolation - it does us all good to talk with others about items of common interest)

It is a tradition that we make New Year resolutions (yes I know that we really try to keep them) but in recent years my track record has not been good in this respect. However one thing that I am going to do is to populate this Blog more often. With other work this is often not so easy to achieve.

There is a fair amount of work going on in the S1000D environment what with the publication of Issue 2.3, work on the Business Rules and Implementation Guide. I also know that there are applications targetted at S1000D which are close to release from several companies. So I hope that I can cover these as they happen. (If your company has an application which is targeted at S1000D or can be adapted to S1000D then why not let me know via the email address and I can cover it in a factual sort of way).

I know that the Directors and Staff at Mekon send their best wishes to all of our customers and clients, both S1000D and Non-S1000D related.
