I have received notice of a UK S1000D conference on 24th May 2011. It is some years since we had a conference here specifically covering S1000D. Because it is a one day event it will make it more available to users, managers and planners who are, or who are going to be, involved in S1000D projects.
This conference is known as Congility S1000D and is going to be part of the three-day Congility 2011 event.
The event is being organised by Congility which was previously known as X-Pubs and the page specific to this conference can be found at http://www.congility.com/index.php/2011/S1000D/.
In the past this organisation has put on some really good events and it looks as if this one is going to be no exception.
Not only will the conference cover the S1000D Specification but also contain sessions on other ASD Specifications which are becoming increasingly important. I understand that the conference is going to be held in the Gatwick area so there will be plenty of parking and it is relatively easy to to get to (plenty
of signs!).
I will try and keep you up to date about the latest situation regarding speakers etc as I get them.
