S1000D Event: Clearwater Approaches

With the S1000D Event at Clearwater less than a week away I have spotted that the
CTS Events website has made the S1000D Clearwater Delegate List available. There are over 300 attendees from a wide variety of companies and countries and with the programme as already mentioned it looks as if it is going to be a good forum for learning and discussion. I know that I will be looking forward to the various sessions.

How to fit it all in

I know that one of the problems that I shall have is the fitting in of all that I want to do during the four days There are so many people that I would like to talk with who are working with S1000D so that I can find out what their route forward is likely to be.

Clearly there are the Business Rules and Implementation aspects of S1000D which have not really be covered up to now (this is being put right in the coming 12 months or so). There are also the other issues such as PLCS integration (or should it be integration with PLCS?), and the Friday Morning session on Standards Integration should prove to be informative.

I hope that it all becomes clear when I get there.

The Voting Panel

After some finger-nail biting it looks as if the voting buttons are working It took some time before I saw the numbers rising so keep up the good work.

At the moment I do not know how long to leave each voting panel. I am hoping that this period will more or less dictate itself but all the questions will be S1000D related.

On here since the last posting

For those who are not of a nervous disposition I have put my mug shot (photograph for those not familiar with the term) on the profile page. I am sorry, but clicking the picture does not show a larger size one. I took this one myself using my webcam which sits on my desk for use with Skype, Webex, MS Messenger etc.

So, should you wish, you may be able to pick me out in the crowd at Clearwater. Please come across and make yourself known. I will be at the Mekon table for some of the time so I should be relatively easy to spot - some say once seen never forgotten - but that is up to you to make up your own mind!
